ERIC LEVEN President
Eric has a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College, a master’s degree in Business Administration from Columbia University, and a master’s in Science from The London School of Economics.
Eric has worked for multiple startups, from Mainspring, which was sold to IBM, to Europe Online Networks, which raised over $100 million with Eric’s business development and product leadership.
While at AT&T Wireless, Eric directed several startup initiatives. He developed the first SMS Aggregator business in the U.S., which launched the SMS Aggregator industry. He co-founded the U.S. Common Short Code Industry, which now facilitates several billion dollars of revenue annually. Eric created the first live visual traffic application in the U.S. And he helped Cingular launch video, developing an exclusive partnership with HBO.
Eric is a Better Patient. At 12 years of age, Eric suffered a head trauma, and after a severe seizure, was operated on for a subdural hematoma. Eric has learned the value of listening to the body and leading a healthy active life. After two spinal tap procedures, Eric still harbors a fear of large needles.
ADITYA VERMA COO
Aditya has a bachelor’s degree in Immunology and Genetics, and a master’s degree in Integrated Communications.
In his work at several marketing agencies, Aditya has led the development of communications for several major brands, including Time Life Medical – Dr. C. Everett Koop’s initiative for Patient Education.
While at AT&T Wireless, Aditya led marketing initiatives to launch the use of data on the mobile phone – in the US. His understanding of a consumer’s use of the mobile phone is key Rip Road’s success in our brand marketing and healthcare areas. He is passionate about improving healthcare and the way patients get involved in their treatments.
Aditya is a Better Patient. After having had surgery to remove a colon polyp at 19, Aditya had to learn about the value of a healthy colon. He spent a significant amount of time understanding the condition and is diligent about the on-going care needed – still going to his doctor for his checkups and required procedures. He knows a lot about colons, and is always happy to share.
