King County Health and Wellness Text for Well-Being SMS Program

Terms and Conditions
King County standard rate SMS Alerts and Poll programs run on the mobile short code 43186. King County will not charge you to participate in these programs, however your Wireless Service Provider may charge for sending and/or receiving SMS messages and may charge for air-time. Participants will receive periodic messages while enrolled.


Service Terms:
1. King County offers SMS programs – including the Text for Well-Being Program – at standard SMS rates. To process requests for the service, users may be charged a fee to send and receive SMS messages, and charged for air-time – based on the terms of their Wireless Service plan. All charges are billed by and payable to a user’s Wireless Service Provider. Check with your Wireless Service Provider if you have questions about your Wireless Service Plan. Message and Data Rates May Apply.

2. King County is not liable for any delays in the receipt of any SMS message, as delivery is subject to effective transmission from the Wireless Service Providers/Network Operators.

3. This service is available on the following Wireless Service Providers: AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Virgin Mobile, Boost, T-Mobile, Metro PCS, U.S. Cellular, Cricket, Carolina West, Google Voice, Cellular One of N.E. Arizona, (including Republic Wireless), Leaco Rural Telephone Cooperative, Sagebrush Cellular, Chariton Valley Cellular, DTC Wireless, Duet IP (Max. Wireless/Wireless Comm.
