Tracking & Monitoring

Patients record and track changes in their symptoms and their medications by responding to scheduled, personalized questions, and easily monitor the changes over time.

Motivation

Patients stay continuously engaged and receive tested motivational content based on their responses, levels of participation and their length of stay in a program.

Feedback & Insights

Patients view their response data in structured visualizations with actionable data-driven insights. They view changes, patterns, trends and the impact of adherence to medication.

Communication

Patients share their PGHD data with healthcare providers, more easily recall how they felt between visits, and have informed discussions about their treatment and diagnostic choices.

SMS

USING SMS TO ACTIVELY ENGAGE PATIENTS

Our SMS implementations make capturing PGHD easy for patients – right from their mobile devices – with no downloads or additional technology needed. Enrollment is simple. Responding to questions is easy. Motivation to stay active is sustained. And, with our journal reports that enable patients to see their longitudinal data in insightful, structured data visualizations, our TrackRR implementations are proven to actively engage patients and keep them on therapy.

Each SMS implementation is configured to meet the unique requirements of a brand. A standard SMS implementation includes:

  • Engagement Protocols

    A unique protocol that drives engagement for a brand – implementation duration, symptoms and medications to be tracked, language for tracking questions, number of and frequency of questions, response time windows, motivational content, data visualization structure, evaluation metrics, and a whole lot more.

  • Personalized Logic

    Our algorithms allow us to personalize a patient’s experience. Content is delivered to patients based on their unique responses, their level of participation, as well as the time they duration they are in a program.

  • Tracking Questions

    Our symptom tracking questions are derived from validated scales, use patient-friendly language, and are delivered to patients at scheduled times. Questions regarding medications are scheduled and delivered based on patient-defined time windows. Both question types are designed to collect patient data in structured formats, and to promote timely patient actions.

  • Motivational Content

    Motivational content, tips, reminders, notifications and insights derived from PGHD allow us to keep patients engaged in a program, and to help patients learn the actions they could take to improve their health outcomes.

  • Data Visualizations

    Each SMS implementation translates a patient’s responses into structured, easy-to-interpret, data visualizations. These visualizations are shared with a patient in a periodic journal report – on paper, online, in pdf, etc. – and helps patients see patterns and trends in the longitudinal data. Coupled with insights derived from their self-reported data, patients are able to understand their condition better, and have more informed conversations with their HCPs.

CREATE A CUSTOMIZED, BRANDED TRACKING APP

Our TrackRR app can be quickly customized to deliver a branded app to actively engage a brand’s patients. The brand can select from our existing functionalities, modify functionality, add additional features, configure the app interface to match brand guidelines, and edit app content to create a tracking app that helps their patients learn more about their condition and understand the benefits of therapy.

Each implementation can be configured for a specific condition or therapy. A standard app implementation includes:

    We define an individualized protocol for each brand app to drive patient engagement. It defines when patients can track their symptoms, condition events and treatments, question types and content, question frequency and duration, data visualizations, metrics and much more.

    Customizable frontend functionality, backend mobile SDKs, and a server-based architecture enable us to quickly set up and configure the workflows needed for patients to easily track PGHD, and efficiently deliver an in-market app.

  • Patient-Friendly Interface

    The TrackRR app is designed to be simple and intuitive. Our flexible, modular interface ensures patients can quickly record their PGHD, and receive delivery of timely and personally-relevant app content. We also use a conversational interface to create an engaging app experience that can be tailored to specific populations.

Our TrackRR platform is a fully managed SaaS platform. Developed over the past 10 years – with the involvement of patients and physicians, it delivers mobile technologies solutions – SMS, smartphone apps, mobile websites, e-mails, etc. – to engage patients. It is built on modern cloud technology to ensure availability, scalability and security. Each TrackRR implementation on the platform is designed, configured, deployed and maintained by an experienced Rip Road team.

Architecture

Our TrackRR platform is a modern event-driven platform based on AWS IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) - allowing us to scale and maintain the platform, innovate and build more agile applications faster. This single-tenant, serverless architecture enables us to provide a dedicated, secure instance for each TrackRR implementation.

Connectivity

Our platform is connected to over 175+ Wireless Carriers to send SMS messages, and to Apple’s APNs and Google’s FCM messaging services for push notifications. We also connect with multiple external sources and devices - such as wearable devices, health monitors, external data sources, etc. to allow us to capture additional PGHD.

Configurations

Configurable Android & iOS SDKs, and ready to use REST APIs, allow a brand to customize a TrackRR implementation to enable their patients to collect PGHD. Specific implementation functionality can also be customized to better align with the needs of the brand.

Data Security & Backup

Our platform is HIPAA compliant to ensure patient data security & privacy. Platform data is encrypted in transit and at rest using the AES 256 algorithm. All platform data is securely stored with role based access control (RBAC) and encrypted audit logs.

Reports & Dashboards

Usage, performance and data monitoring is available on a secure web portal to help brands better understand patient engagement and implementation effectiveness in real-time. Standard and custom reports provide additional insights to help evaluate the success of an implementation and help make continuous improvements.

Integrations

We support real time integrations with 3rd party systems such as CRM systems, call centers, AE handlers, and other health platforms. We offer bi-directional integration support in multiple formats – REST, SOAP, HL7, SFTP, etc.
